Glaciers to Geysers - 2010

September 1 to September 20, 2010

This caravan will take us through some of the most fascinating scenic and historic areas of the northern Old West.  We will begin with a three-day visit to Glacier National Park and end up with five days at Yellowstone / Grand Teton National Parks and Buffalo Bill's Cody, Wyoming.  In between, we’ll visit the National Bison Range , the Smokejumper Museum, the very well preserved Garnet ghost town , restored historic cattle ranching and copper mining sites, and the spectacular Bighorn Mountains, as well as other attractions.  We’ll also give you some time to shop and explore in downtown Missoula, Butte and Cody.

We will be staying at five different campgrounds (four KOAs and a Jellystone Park), all with full hookups.  All camping is prepaid; however, if you have a current KOA Value Card, please furnish us the number – it will help keep our costs down so we can offer more goodies.  Total trip distance for the coaches will be approximately 540 miles.  There will be numerous “day trips”, both carpooling in your “toads” and via prepaid public transportation or scheduled tours.  See the first page of the Application for more details on the itinerary.

Total cost for the caravan will be $2050.  Send your Application and a deposit of $1050 to us before March 1, 2010.  There will be a maximum of 12 coaches on this trip – if we receive more than 12 Applications, we will hold a drawing on March 15.  We look forward to seeing you in Montana.
