  Saratoga Springs

*      A Day at the Races – the Saratoga Racetrack – oldest flat track in the USA

*      Saratoga National Park –Historic Battlefield –“  The battle held here is known as the  

         turning point in the Revolutionary War

*      Saratoga Spa State Park (Museum of Dance, Automobile Museum, Hot Springs, Etc.)

 

Hudson River Valley

*       West Point Military Academy with lunch at the Historic Hotel Thayer

*       Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome - WWI Air Show and vintage airplane museum

*       The Roosevelt and Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Sites in Hyde Park

*       Eleanor Roosevelt’s “Val-Kill” – The only National Historic Site dedicated to a First Lady

*       The Culinary Institute of America – “The World’s Premier Culinary College”

*       Apple picking, farmer’s markets, etc.

 

Lower Hudson River Valley (NYC)

*       Bus tour – probably including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Plaza,

              Wall Street, Ground Zero, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and more

*       Broadway show and a meal in the “theater district”

*       A day in NYC visiting museums, sightseeing, etc.

*       Attend a taping of a TV show (possibly Letterman or Rachel Ray)

*       Night time Dinner cruise around Manhattan

*       Lunch or dinner at Tavern on the Green and/or at Rockefeller Center

 

The cost of $2700* (to be paid in three installments) includes all of the above plus:

*      Campground costs per coach, which will exceed $1000 for 19 nights

*      A variety of meals (approximately 1 per day)

*      Social hours on most days

*      And much, much more

 

Total coach mileage will be less than 250 miles.  18 coach limit including 2 host coaches.
